KNITTING AND CROCHET
Small class sizes for adults and children (7+) with a maximum of 4 people
Knitting 1
Learn the knit stitch during this one-hour class. Bring your yarn and knitting needles and begin to knit a warm winter scarf. You will learn to cast on and practice knitting. Take your project home to practice, practice, practice! You are welcome to come back at any time to ask questions. When you complete your scarf schedule a second appointment and you will learn how to bind off and finish it perfectly. All this for $15. You will need to bring yarn (Chunky or Thick and Quick in a plain color is best) and size 13 knitting needles to class.
Knitting 2
Take your knitting to the next level during this one-hour class. We will learn the purl stitch and make a warm winter hat. We will learn how to decrease, read a simple pattern and we will work on circular needles. You will review casting on, and practice the knit stitch as well. Take your project home to finish it up. You are welcome to come back at any time to ask questions. All this for $15. You will need to bring yarn (sport weight in a plain color is best) and size 6 circular knitting needles to class.
Crochet
Learn the single and double crochet stitches. As you learn you will be building a rectangle that will be turned into a cute drawstring bag to store your cell phone or other treasures in. Come in for a second or third class to build on what you know and learn how to follow patterns. Teacher: Kelly Garrison, $15
