I was born in upstate New York in the small town of Ogdensburg, previous home of Frederick Remington the famous western artist, and current home of the Frederick Remington Art Museum. This is where my interest in art really began to take hold. I relocated to Texas in 1980, and am married with three children.

I enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes that are representational with a range of modern. I tend to use a delicate approach to blending the many vibrant colors I work into my paintings that add a softness, which may best be described as colorful with a serene quality.

There never is a day nor a season when the scenery I encounter doesn’t form paintings in my mind while driving through the countryside. I prefer oil painting on canvas in a variety of sizes, ranging from 8” x 10” to 30” x 40”, and over the last few years have been producing tri-panel and bi-panel-corner paintings. These have proven quite popular. The tri-panels, when properly hung, present a panoramic view that is unachievable with a conventional single canvas painting.
